Flame Blue - $6.10 

The Rapid City Arts Council's retail paint of choice is Flame Blue.
Flame Blue is a low Pressure, matte acrylic spray that offers maximum control and high color opacity. It is a European paint that is specifically formulated for the highest quality mural work.

How does this paint differ from what I get at the hardware store?

Aside from a an impressive 108 color palette, the low pressure valve means that paint comes out slower than hardware store paint, making it easier to control. High pressure hardware store paint comes out hard and fast. Low pressure paints don't The matte sheen of the paint is also a less common feature seen in hardware store paints.

Spray paint caps/nozzles

German Outline 4 Spray Paint Cap
Thin to medium lines. This cap is good for outlines or fills. Good all around cap. It is the cap that comes stock with our Flame Blue, but is compatible with all brands we sell. This is the cap that is going to be the closest to the MTN 94 stock cap.
AP Micro Spray Paint Cap
The Art Primo Micro Cap is the next level of precision thin cap for the aerosol artist. This cap offers quick paint delivery for the artist who wants to paint neatly and with detail. It offers a nice balance of paint flow to thin spray output. The line that is produced is clean and crisp with minimal over spray. This cap is a must have for anyone interested in creating the thin lines and detail work. The Micro Cap will work on all brands that we sell.
Grey Dot Spray Paint Cap
(aka MaClaim cap) - Creates super thin lines. It's Great for detail work and piecing. They are also great for characters. They work good on all brands we sell.
Orange Dots
This cap sprays medium to fat spray. It's more controllable than a pink dot. It's great for filling in medium to large areas. It's also good for bombing. Good on all brands we sell.
New York Fatcap
The NY Fat is a classic spray paint cap. It's good for medium to fat lines. It has super clean lines and a very even circular spray pattern. This cap is an all around great and useful cap. Some people like to piece with them, do characters, handstyles and more. It's good on all brands that we carry.
